What is E-Intelligent Business?
Our E-Intelligent Business Service is a seamless fusion of technology and processes used to "scrub" claims throughout the billing/revenue process to ensure claims are "clean" upon their at time of submission and that the payment received is a "clean" correct payment based on your contract.
Patient Registration Verification – We will review patient demographic and insurance information for completeness and accuracy before claims are submitted.
Encounter Posting – We will review all information for correctness and completeness and will enter all procedures, charges and diagnosis codes necessary to ensure that you get paid.
Claims Submission – All initial claims will be submitted electronically within 24 to 48 hours of receipt. Secondary insurance claims are submitted when necessary.
EDI Tracking – Claims are diligently tracked throughout the EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) process.
Payment Posting – All payments are posted within 24 to 48 hours of receipt.
Denied claims follow up – Upon receipt of the EOB, we will promptly investigate all denied claims to determine the reason for denial. If corrections are needed, we will promptly make the necessary changes and resubmit the claim.
Patient Billing Management – Caduceus Billing Service will send patient billing statements for qualifying outstanding balances for up to 90 days. After 90 days, a final account review statement will be sent to the healthcare provider to decide whether account will be written off or sent to collections.
Patient Billing Help-Line – Patients have access to our friendly staff via our patient helpline for any questions regarding their claims or statements
(8 a.m.-7 p.m. weekdays). Our specialized Customer Care professionals will respond to billing inquiries promptly, and with the utmost consideration and professionalism.
Reporting – We will provide you with regular reports accompanied with face to face meetings at your discretion, to keep you constantly informed of your practice’s production and collection activity.
